I’m not sure this is a very good idea, as far as the ban on promoting “self-mutilation” goes. Does this extend to tattoos, subdermal implants, scarification, and play piercings? Many of us do things like this for self-expression and pleasure. Banning that expression is wrong. I fully agree that self-harm is a real and serious problem, but this is not the way to solve it.

This blog stinks!: Things that apparently are offensive and damaging to trans* people:

This post is amazing. Even though I’m not trans* myself, a very close friend of mine is. She’s decided to keep her male body and not go through surgery. I’m glad there are other people around who accept that as a real and valid choice. :)
